What to include in a basket RFQ
A clear request gives the project team enough context to identify the product, test the pack-out and prepare a useful quotation.
Identify the product
Use a GXMD product reference or attach a reference image. If you are undecided, describe the opening, lid, handle and overall format required.
Describe the program
State the intended contents, quantity range, destination country, target delivery window and whether a sample or pre-production approval is needed.
Separate requirements from preferences
List essential requirements separately from ideas for color, branding or packing so the response can distinguish feasibility from optional direction.
Ask for a complete response
Request the confirmed dimensions, material description, available variants, sample terms, quantity basis, lead time, packing and applicable documents.
